Swim Carnival
Swim schoolers, bring your togs, your whānau and your friends to cheer on our very first Swim Carnival at the Makino Aquatic Centre.
Event details
- Date: Saturday 20 June
- Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
- Location: Indoor pool area, Makino Aquatic Centre
This carnival is for children currently enrolled in Makino Aquatic Centre Swim School who are taking lessons in the 25-metre pool.
The afternoon will include:
- Races suited to different levels
- Fun challenges in the water
- Prizes and plenty of encouragement
It’s a simple way for swimmers to show what they have been working on this term, in a relaxed and supportive setting. Whānau and friends are welcome to come along, take a seat on the side and cheer the swimmers on.
Pool access on the day:
While the Swim Carnival is running, 1:00pm – 4:00pm, the indoor pool will be closed to the public.
The pool will operate as usual before 1:00pm and after 4:00pm.
