Pre-School
As important as walking and talking, swimming is a skill for life!
The Makino Swim School offers many lesson programmes to suit a wide range of ages and abilities. Each programme is designed to develop your child's swimming ability as well as teach personal and group survival and rescue techniques.
Explorer
Beginner level primarily working on submersion, independence and confidence in the water.
Target age: 3 - 4 years
Glider
This class is all about gliding through the water in the correct streamline position and getting comfortable with floating.
Target age: 3 - 4 years
Paddler
Now we are moving, learning our correct kick and bringing in our arm actions.
Target age: 3 - 4 years
Mover
Putting our kick and arms together on both front and back. We also introduce a Breaststroke kick.
Target age: 3 - 4 years
All Makino Swim School instructors are AUSTSWIM trained.
