Hop Into Easter at the MAC
The Easter Bunny has traded carrots for swim goggles, and he is hopping into the Makino Aquatic Centre (MAC) to make these April school holidays extra hoppy. From Monday, 30 March, children can join a count the Easter eggs in a jar challenge and a bunny hunt around reception, with a special surprise with a real-life bunny making appearances for friendly pats.
The MAC is well known for its creative decorations and easter is no exception, making every visit more unique for visitors.
“Creating an immersive, family-friendly environment is what we love most,” says Renee Dunbar, Aquatic Programmes Leader. “From themed decorations to interactive activities and our Easter Pool Party. We want families to have a safe, active, and memorable holiday.”
The April School Holiday Programme is packed with activities designed to keep kids moving and entertained. Daily highlights include Dive Well sessions, Big Inflatables and Aquarun, and private swim lessons. Across the two-week programme, children can enjoy a survival swim crash course, canoe polo session, junior lifeguard experiences, poolside crafts, a bubble party, snorkelling sessions, an Amazing Race, and a super Float-In Movie. Families are encouraged to book early as some activities are limited. Full programme details are available in the School Holiday Programme brochure or online at Makino School Holiday Programmes.
Hop into Easter fun at the MAC from bunnies to bubbles, there is something for every young swimmer to enjoy.
