 Opportunity for Coaches to Learn

"We always include coach development as a key part of our camp programs.

Over the past 20 years we've run swim camps in the US, the UK, Spain, France, Portugal, South Africa, Zimbabwe, throughout Asia, the Pacific and in many locations across Australia and we've always made coach development a feature of everything we do.

Coaches attending our camp in December in Feilding will not only work on deck and learn new drills and skills practices, but during the day, coaches will be able to attend learning sessions on planning and programming, set and session design, mental skills enhancement practices and strength and conditioning training".

"Our camps have three aims"

"Firstly we focus on the whole swimmer - it's so much more than swimming laps and doing kms. We help swimmers learn about themselves, develop the mental side of swimming and teach them about nutrition, recovery, sleep and injury minimization as well. It's the ‘mind’ more than ‘miles’.

Secondly, the camp is three days of technique and skills development: all strokes, dives, starts, turns, finishes, relays - it's almost exclusively focused on helping swimmers improve their technique and skills.

Thirdly and most importantly - we have fun at our camps. Swimming is a tough sport - that's true - but it's also an enjoyable, fun and rewarding activity. We work hard - but we also have a lot of laughs, smiles and even really weird and wacky team events in the evening".
