Opening Hours
The Makino Aquatic Centre (Makino) is an indoor and outdoor heated aquatic site.
We provide safe, all year swimming for the community.
During Term Four:
On Monday evenings there will be limited lanes available from 6:15pm-8pm.
On Wednesday evenings there will be limited lane space available between 6:15pm-7.30pm.
On Friday evenings the Indoor Complex will be closed from 5:45pm for Canoe Polo.

9 December - Limited space in outdoor complex 10am-1:30pm due to school booking.
10 December - Limited space in outdoor complex 12:30-2:30pm due to school booking.
11 December - Outdoor Complex CLOSED 12pm-2pm due to school booking.
12 December - Outdoor Complex CLOSED 11am-2pm due to school booking.
16 December - Limited space in outdoor complex 1:30-2:30pm due to school booking.
17 December - Limited space in outdoor complex 11am-2pm due to school booking.

The Makino’s Indoor Complex supports three fully heated swimming pools: A 25 metre 6 lane pool, at a warm 28 degrees, a play pool with ‘beach’ area, at a lovely 33 degrees and a dedicated Learn to Swim pool at 33 degrees.
Outdoor Pools
A 50 metre 7 lane pool, a learner pool, and a diving pool, all heated to approximately 27 degrees, plus a fresh water toddler pool. Our outdoor complex is now OPEN for summer.
